• Cavan was founded in Alberta in 1970 as a General Contractor by Frank Maguire. Through experience, intuition and sound management the company adapted to change and challenge.
   
• This tradition has been continued by the current owners, Cal Phare, Chief Financial Officer since 1973, and long-term employees, Jack Jones and Chuck Long who purchased the company from Mr. Maguire in 1993. To this day Cavan adheres to the basic values on which its success was founded - Customer Satisfaction.
   
• Cavan is structured to maximize principal involvement in all phases of our projects. The Owners are directly involved in all projects through all stages of work.
   
• Over the last 35 years Cavan has completed numerous building and engineering projects in both the areas of new and renovation type work throughout Alberta, NWT, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Notably Cavan was consulted for the World Student Games facilities, the Hospital replacement program in Alberta and more recently for the School Modernizations and Upgradings in the Province of Alberta.
